| Grainne graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a degree in Fine Arts & Languages in 1972. She then continued on to work in London in the Antiques trade for a further 6 years before returning to Dublin to set up Courtville in Powerscourt. She has completed a number of diamond grading courses in London and Courtville was one of the founding members of the Irish Antique Dealers Association in 1966.
Grainne now specialises in pretty and wearable antique and art deco jewellery. Her collection of platinum and diamond engagement rings is very distinctive with precious stones set in particularly unique settings, some exclusive to Courtville. Courtville exhibits each year at all three major international antique fairs in the RDS in Dublin. |
