Courtville Antiques was established in 1964 in Tipperary Town by the present owners mother Mrs. Catherine Pierse. The business trasnferred to the 18th Century Powerscourt Townhouse Centre, Dublin in 1981 where its principal is now
Grainne Pierse.

We specialise in Art Deco and Antique Jewellery, in particular diamond engagement rings. We also stock Victorian Jewellery and pearl chokers with antique diamond and precious stone clasps. Rare and pretty pieces of Edwardian enamel jewellery are regularly in stock.

Unusual diamond cuts are very fashionable at the moment. Asscher cuts such as the platinum set example photographed here in a fine platinum setting, are very exciting.

The "Asscher cut diamond" was developed in 1902 by the Asscher Brothers of Holland.

However, the Asscher cut has rapidly gained popularity as it was featured on the television show "Sex & the City" and stars such as Kate Hudson have received Asscher-cuts as engagement rings.
